Particle-reduction filtration

PPguard® polypropylene cartridge filters

Pleated, all-polypropylene cartridge configurations for compatible liquid and gas filtration applications.

Product overview

PPguard uses thermally bonded polypropylene media and structural components. Its range of retention ratings and standard cartridge lengths supports application-specific prefiltration and particle-reduction duties. Selection should consider the process fluid, contaminant profile, required retention, flow, differential pressure, temperature and cleaning or sterilization method.

Typical application discussions

  • Process-water and compatible chemical filtration
  • Pharmaceutical and bioprocess prefiltration
  • Food, beverage and cosmetic process filtration
  • Compatible air, gas, ink, coating and industrial-fluid duties

Selection limitations

Published ratings and limits do not establish suitability for every process. Chemical compatibility, extractables, retention performance, connections, sterilization cycles and any market-specific documentation must be assessed for the selected configuration.
